Discussion with Various Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Koshi Province

On Monday, February 4, 2025, a comprehensive meeting and discussion program was organized at the Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the chairmanship of its President, Mr. Anupam Rathi. The program served as an important platform for interaction, coordination, and the exchange of views among chairpersons and representatives of various chambers of commerce and industry operating across Koshi Province.

The discussion program was facilitated by the Chamber’s General Secretary, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Shrestha, who guided the proceedings and ensured active participation from all attending organizations.

The program was attended by former President of the Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Central Member of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Mr. Naveen Rijal, as well as the outgoing President and committee members of FNCCI’s Koshi Province Chapter, including Mr. Tikaraj Dhakal. Their presence added valuable insight and experience to the discussions.

A wide range of regional and sectoral business organizations participated in the program, reflecting strong representation from across the province.

These included the Bhojpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhankuta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jhapa Industry Association, Kankai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Khotang Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mechi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tehrathum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sankhuwasabha Chamber of Commerce and Industry, branch associations of the Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pathari Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sundarharaicha Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and chairpersons and representatives from the Nepal Plywood Producers Association.

The program focused on strengthening coordination among chambers, discussing common challenges faced by the business and industrial community in the province, and exploring collaborative approaches to promote industrial growth, trade facilitation, and private sector development in Koshi Province.
